The A.N.A. refuge is a place for pilgrims and hikers to stop and rest or to spend the night. Every second Sunday of August, the local Alpini Association organises a big celebration attended by hundreds of guests.

A mass is celebrated next to the refuge, followed by a lavish meal offered to the participants.
