Camporosso is a very ancient centre. Under the Ancient Romans it was a post, as confirmed by the finds discovered in the small town of Villa.

In Villa you can visit the ancient church of St. Dorothy, characterised by a gothic-Carinthian style, and the church of St. Giles, the first pieve church in the whole valley, built in 1444.
